Frequently Asked Questions

Who are we?

At Audacia Bioscience we are an experienced tech and medical research company with a specialization in virtual clinical trials for the advancement of research in cannabis and its impact on wellness and health.

Why are we doing this study?

Women’s health issues are understated and less understood.

Why only six conditions?

We want to focus on a few issues concerning women’s reproductive and sexual health. We’re helping companies do clinical studies on these areas, and why that’s unique and important. We made the process simpler and more approachable so all women can benefit.

Why does the study exclude pregnancy and breastfeeding?

We are not able to study pregnant women or children due to ethical considerations and the nature of our protocol design. Pregnant women are scientifically complex, reflecting a combination of physiologic and ethical complexity. The ethical complexity is reflected in the need to balance the interests of the pregnant woman and the fetus. More information on cannabis and breastfeeding and pregnancy is located here.

Why now?

The timing between societal and attitude changes, especially with cannabis legalization, more people discussing women’s issues in medicine, and our advances in technology have driven the impact of this study.
